Get your election night coverage from the Arkansas Times!
With just over 32 hours until polls close and the seemingly interminable campaign season comes to an end, you may be trying to figure out where and how you will get news about Arkansas elections on Tuesday night.
Well, good news: The Arkansas Times has you covered! We’ve even built a dedicated site for the whole thing, which you can see (and bookmark) here.
A few additional notes:
- Early voting is available today until 5 p.m., then tomorrow from 7:30 a.m. until 7:30 p.m. If you have not already voted, get out there and do so!
- If for some reason you opt not to bookmark the election coverage page from the link above, you’ll be able to reach it by clicking this graphic wherever it appears on the website:
- We’ve teamed up with the Associated Press for some very cool data reporting and visualizations. You can already see what that will look like on the page, and those various charts and maps will start filling in with data shortly after the polls close at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 3.
- In addition to the straight results-focused coverage you’d expect from an august news organization such as the Arkansas Times, we will also have reporters on scene at various watch parties around Central Arkansas providing some commentary on turnout, quotes from supporters and candidates and just general vibes-based insights.
- You’ll notice that the races for U.S. Senate, Arkansas governor and U.S. House of Representatives have additional, stand-alone pages linked at the bottom of our election coverage page. (See, for example, this one.) Each of those race-specific pages provides a lot more information about the turnout and results in those races, including live-updating county maps and decision notes from the Associated Press.
- Even with our whole team pitching in to cover the results and related news on Tuesday night, it’s entirely possible that stuff will happen that we are unaware of. To that end, if you see/hear of something that you think is newsworthy on Tuesday, whether it’s something going wrong or simply an election result in a race that might not immediately be on our radar, please feel free to email me at matt@arktimes.com and let me know.
We’re almost at the finish line, folks. Join the Arkansas Times tomorrow night as we learn how all the time, effort and money expended impacted the outcomes.
