Trussville woman charged after theft, $30,000 in damage at family fun center
TRUSSVILLE, Ala. —

A Trussville woman has been charged, and police are looking for others who may have been involved after a theft and “significant property damage” at a local business.
Officers responded Sunday evening to the PlayStation Family Fun Center on Watterson Lane, established a perimeter and deployed a police drone, according to Trussville Mayor Ben Short.
The drone helped officers track the suspect as she moved through the property, attempted to hide and eventually got through an opening in a fence.

The damage and theft at the business included fencing, lighting and surveillance equipment, as well as copper wiring removed from the property, Short said. The damage is estimated at $30,000.
Jenna Marie Tidmore, 40, is charged with criminal mischief and theft of property. She is being held in the Jefferson County Jail on a $45,000 bond.
“That is a significant loss for any business, and we need to remember that behind those numbers are local business owners and employees who now have to deal with the damage, repairs, and disruption caused by the actions of others,” Short said.
