Influencer Yamatorino Arrested on Suspicion of Cocaine Possession
TOKYO –
A 27-year-old nightclub employee and influencer known online as Yamatorino was arrested at the scene on suspicion of possessing cocaine at her home in Tokyo’s Roppongi district, along with her 28-year-old boyfriend.
Rino Tazawa, 27, a company executive who also works at a nightclub, and her boyfriend Kota Fukumoto, 28, also a company executive, are suspected of possessing about 0.4 grams of cocaine at their apartment in Roppongi, Minato Ward, on September 15.
Investigators also found 21 bags containing a white powder believed to be cocaine at the residence.
Tazawa has admitted to the allegation, telling investigators, “We were using it together,” according to police.
Tazawa has been active as an influencer under the name Yamatorino and has appeared on YouTube audition programs and other online content.
