Asian Games 2026: India men’s and women’s cricket schedule
Asian Games 2026 is set to take place at Aichi-Nagoya starting from September 19 to October 4.
However, the cricket event will begin two days earlier, on September 17 when the first two quarterfinals in the women’s category will take place at the Korogi Sports Park in Nisshin.
Indian women’s team will place its first match on September 18 against Japan in the fourth quarterfinal. The women’s gold medal match will be held on September 22 at the same venue.
Meanwhile, the men’s event will begin on September 24, but India will only play its first game four days later. The Shreyas Iyer-led side will directly play the quarterfinals, but the opponent will be decided depending on the result of the first-round matches.
Apart from India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka will also directly feature in the quarterfinals.
