Lorry driver killed in crash on A716 near Drummore
A lorry driver has died after crashing on a coastal road in south-west Scotland.
The accident involving a white DAF lorry happened at about 09:30 on Wednesday on the A716 near Drummore.
The driver, a 56-year-old man who police have not yet named, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The road was closed for several hours and police have appealed for any witnesses, or anyone with dash-cam footage, to get in touch, external.
