The Patriots have found their rhythm after an opening loss, rattling off consecutive victories including last week’s 42-12 triumph over Lafayette Renaissance Charter Academy. John Curtis Christian will need that momentum against a St. Augustine squad that has been dominant through three games, most recently dismantling East Ascension 52-7. The Purple Knights have allowed just 20 combined points this season.
St. Augustine swept John Curtis Christian in 2025, winning 55-28 during the regular season before edging the Patriots 31-29 in a December 5 LHSAA state playoffs thriller.
