Alabama jury verdict awards sheriff’s brother $7 million in damages against 1819 News
A Jefferson County jury today awarded $7 million in damages to Bruce Pettway, the brother of Sheriff Mark Pettway, in his lawsuit against 1819 News.
“We’re pleased that the jury believed him and did the right thing,” Kristen Gochett, an attorney for Bruce Pettway, said today.
