Tunisian artist Latifa conveyed her deep admiration and gratitude for the UAE, commending the nation’s impressive progress and its rich cultural and developmental diversity.

She encouraged other Arab countries to follow the UAE’s example of advancement and emphasised the considerable influence the country has had on both her artistic and personal journey.

In an exclusive statement to “Al-Khaleej” newspaper during her attendance at the Arab Media Summit, Latifa expressed blessings for the nation, wishing protection over the UAE, its leadership, people, land, and environment. She also highlighted the UAE’s culture of tolerance and love, where people from numerous nationalities live harmoniously and securely.

The Tunisian artist emphasised her family’s deep connections to the UAE, mentioning that several relatives, including cousins and siblings, live there. She reminisced about the early phase of her artistic journey, which gained momentum with the launch of her albums in the UAE, saying that her true start and initial breakthrough occurred in Abu Dhabi.

When discussing the remarkable growth and prosperity in the UAE, Latifa referred to an inspiring verse by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai: “They said I sing apart from the flock and criticized me… It suffices that I am the singer, O Arabs.” She urged Arab nations to follow the UAE’s pioneering model of renaissance, progress, and development.
