Tree crashes onto empty home during storms in Birmingham’s Ensley neighborhood

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. —

Storms in central Alabama caused a tree to fall onto a home in Birmingham’s Ensley neighborhood this afternoon.

Firefighters were called to the house on 7th Street West at around 1:30 p.m.

Officials said the house was empty, and no one was hurt.
