Watch: The Colorado Sun hosts live issue interviews with CD8 candidates
The Colorado Sun is partnering with Noticias Univision Colorado to host a live issue interview between the Democratic and Republican candidates for Colorado Congressional District 8 this year.
The event will take place at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 20, at the University of Northern Colorado in Campus Commons.
Colorado Sun Elections Editor Jesse Paul and Univision news anchor and executive producer Rafael Contreras will ask the candidate questions ahead of the Nov. 3 elections.
Candidates who will participate in the event include:
- Gabe Evans – U.S. representative, incumbent
- Manny Rutinel – Former state representative, Commerce City
Each candidate will take questions on stage separately after Rutinel declined to participate in a Sun debate with Evans.
