Morena’s First Slate for 2027

The unity message arrives against a public warning from inside the governing coalition. Reginaldo Sandoval, a deputy for the allied Labour Party (PT), said this week that Morena’s candidate choices could cost it twelve of the seventeen governorships in play next year — an unusually blunt assessment of the movement’s vulnerability after nearly a decade in national power.
