Love to Sing’s annual autumn concert at Manilva’s CIVIMA Theatre on Friday, October 2 raises Christmas funds for local children. The perfect evening for a night out and doing some good too. Last tickets are available with every euro raised helping to bring joy to a child at a special time of year.
A night of magical music in Manilva
Get ready to be entertained as Friday, October 2 brings the Love to Sing International Community Choir to the CIVIMA Theatre in Manilva for its yearly charity concert. Doors open at 7pm and the music starts at 7.30pm.
Billed as “A Night of Magical Music”, the evening features songs from all your favourite famous films and musicals. The programme is split into two halves: “The Good” first, followed by “The Amusing and the Bad”.
Tickets cost just €10, with all proceeds going to the Children’s Christmas Appeal run by the Duquesa Charitable Society of St George. The appeal provides Christmas packages for local children and supports families in the area who need an extra helping hand.
Over the past eight years, the choir and its audiences have done a wonderful job raising thousands of euros for this cause. This year, the singers hope neighbours and visitors will back the 2026/27 campaign too.
Who are Love to Sing?
Founded in 2018 and based in Sabinillas, this friendly, inclusive choir brings together singers of different nationalities under the musical direction of Shirley Helleur. Its repertoire ranges from classical and pop to rock and musical theatre. New voices are always welcome with open arms.
Manilva is only the start of a busy season. Two concerts follow at Estepona’s Mirador del Carmen Auditorium in October and November, including one on Friday, October 9 in aid of the Emaus Soup Kitchen, which helps people in need in the Estepona area.
