A popular Shelby County brewery is set to close its doors for the last time just days after it celebrates its eighth year in business.
In a Facebook post, Siluria Brewing Co. announced it will be closing on Nov. 13 due to past financial decisions, the outcomes of which have become too great for the brewery to overcome.
In the post, the brewery took the bulk of its announcement to thank the customers who “shared countless ordinary nights that somehow became extraordinary simply because of the people in the room.”
The brewery said it still plans to continue making memories through its last day in business with more pours, trivia games, singing and more to “give this little brewery the goodbye it deserves.”
