Indians at the County: Rahul Chahar takes four-wicket haul, Kuldeep strikes thrice
Rahul Chahar picked a four-wicket haul (4/97) for his side Surrey against Sussex in the latest round of fixtures of the County Championship on Wednesday.
Mahipal Lomror, who is Chahar’s teammate at Surrey, also picked up two wickets (2/74) to help Surrey bowl out Sussex for 393. One of Chahar’s victims was Jaydev Unadkat, who was dismissed for 5 off 7 balls for Sussex.
Elsewhere, Kuldeep Yadav also had a fruitful day with the ball as he picked up three wickets (3/60) to help Yorkshire reduce Essex to 124/7.
The chinaman also contributed some valuable runs with the bat down the order, scoring 36 off 94 balls to help Yorkshire post 390 in the first innings.
Manav Suthar for Warwickshire bowled a double wicket-maiden as his side wrapped up a mammoth innings and 257 run win over Glamorgan, who were bowled out for 69 and 65 in its two innings.
Sai Kishore (Gloucestershire), Yuzvendra Chahal (Northamptonshire), and Mayank Agarwal (Durham) were also in action for their respective teams.
